Chapel Junction is the western, and busier junction on the A92, East Fife Regional Road, at Kirkcaldy in Fife. It connects with the A910 and B981, the two routes briefly multiplexing along a short dual carriageway to the south. The junction is a standard four arm roundabout interchange built over the dual carriageway A92. The roundabout is not signalised, although it can be busy at peak times, and has two marked circulatory lanes, with two approach lanes from each route. Despite the growth of the town out towards the A92, the junction still has fields in three corners, and the embankments are well wooded, giving a rural feel.
Chapel Junction marks the point where the original proposed route of the East Fife Regional Road towards the M90 deviated from the final route of the A92 as built. The junction was built as planned with the exception of the B981 to the north which was to be dualled as part of wider plans for the new town of Glenrothes to the north.
