Chapel Roundabout (Kirkcaldy)

Chapel Roundabout lies a short distance south of Chapel Junction on the A92 to the north west of Kirkcaldy. The road connecting the two junctions, via an intermediate roundabout, is a dual carriageway multiplex between the A910 and B981. The A910 approaches along Wester Bogie Road from the south west, having curved around the western edge of the town, and so connects directly to the Esplanade and Town Centre, while the B981 follows Chapel Level, the original line of the A910, from the east. A fourth arm heads north east into the Fife Central Retail Park, while a fifth arm heads west into a small housing estate. When originally built, there was a sixth exit leading off to the north into the John Smith Business Park, however, this was closed up in the early 2010s.
