Lizard Hill services

Lizard Hill services was a proposed Motorway Service Area on M54. It was due to be located between Junction 3 and Junction 4 to the north-east of the small town of Shifnal, Shropshire, and appears in early documentation during the planning of the motorway.

However, when the motorway extension between Telford and Wolverhampton opened in 1983, it did so without these services being provisioned. Eventually, a service area was provided on M54, but at the nearby Telford services located off Junction 4 rather than the Lizard Hill site.
