The Bridge across the Fiddich at Bridgehaugh is a modern structure, and for once in this area there is no obvious sign of its predecessor. However, a closer look at the river banks immediately to the west of the current bridge shows the old stone abutments, partially hidden in the bushes along the river. It has to be presumed that this former bridge was a single span stone arch, but no further information can be found at present.
As for the modern bridge, it is also a single span, with a concrete deck and metal railings, very similar to the other two new bridges over the Fiddich at Bridge of Poolinch and Bridge of Auchindoun, suggesting that all three were built at a similar time.
