The C88 starts at the Dalabrog Crossroads where the B888 heads south whilst the A865 runs north and east. It heads west towards the shore, before turning south and meandering across the machir, between lochs, before turning east through South Boisdale to rejoin the B888. There is also a spur towards the northern end which rejoins the B888 at Crossdougal.
