The C90 is the only C road on the Island of Barra. It starts on the A888 at Northbay and heads north to Traigh Mor, just before which a side road leads east out to the ferry pier for the Sound of Barra Ferry. Traigh Mor is, of course, famous as being the islands Beach airport, and the road skirts around just above the high tide line - in the past it appears to have cut across the middle of the vast sandy beach. The road then turns inland a little to Eoligarry where it comes to an end on the west coast of the headland.
