Also known as the Dublin Road Roundabout and signed on the A1 as Newry South, the Cloghogue Roundabout is the southern end of the Newry bypass, and the northern end of the Republic-funded upgrade of the N1 cross-border road from the end of the M1 at Dundalk to motorway standards (though not motorway regulations).
As part of the project to fully grade-separate the A1, this roundabout was grade-separated in 2009, part of wider works to improve the Newry bypass
