Goole Interchange is junction 36 of the M62.
This was initially constructed as having a single roundabout at the north side of the motorway, with crossroads on the westbound sliproads. It opened in 1975, with the M62 to the east opening the following year. In the early 2000s, this was reconstructed to increase capacity by adding a second roundabout to the south of the interchange, with new access road into the industrial areas. This road was later incorporated to become part of the new A161 Goole Relief Road.
