Milford Haven / Aberdaugleddau is a town in south Pembrokeshire. Long a staging-point on sea journeys to Ireland, the town itself was founded towards the end of the 18th century as a base for whalers and a naval dockyard (the latter soon transferring, however, to Pembroke Dock), and is today a major oil port capable of handling the world's largest tankers.
