The Ramsey Bridge, also known as Ramsey Stone Bridge, carries the A9 across the Sulby River in Ramsey. It is believed to be 19th Century in date, and consists of three stone arches which stand immediately above a weir into the harbour below. The piers and abutments have substantial triangular cutwaters, which are chamfered off below a string course at road level. The tall parapets are topped with coping stones, meaning that car drivers have little indication of the river below when the drive across the bridge. The roadway is a normal two lane width with pavements on either side.
