Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands are a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean, formed of three islands. George Town is the teritory's capital.

Road network

There are eight numbered roads in the territory (the route numbers themselves are not, however, displayed on directional signage): [1]

• A1 George Town (A2) to West Bay
• A2 George Town (A1) to Bodden Town (A3)
• A3 Bodden Town (A2) to Frank Sound (A4) to Old Man Bay (A4), along the east coast of Grand Cayman
• A4 Frank Sound (A3) to Old Man Bay (A3) to Rum Point
• A5 George Town to A2, along the south coast of Grand Cayman
• A6 West End (A7) to Spot Bay, along the north coast of Cayman Brac
• A7 West End (A6) to Pollard Bay, along the south coast of Cayman Brac
• A8 Along the north, west, and south coasts of Little Cayman

Signs and signals

Most traffic signs closely resemble those used in the United Kingdom, in both design and usage. The text on directional signs, however, is all upper-case, and most traffic lights are arranged horizontally.
