Northumberland Way Interchange is a roundabout interchange in Washington, where the grade-separated A1231dual carriageway is crossed by the A195. It also provides access to Hertburn industrial estate via an unsigned, one-way exit from the roundabout and a one-way link which joins the eastbound off-slip.
The junction is a lane drop/gain for the A1231 to the east; however the proximity of the next junction - where the lanes are lost again - leaves a very short distance for weaving.
