Route outline (key)
C1 Clarkston - Eastwood
This article is about the Class III road numbered C1 maintained by East Renfrewshire Council.
For other roads numbered C1, see C1
.

The C1 Mearns Road starts on the A727, Busby Road, in Clarkston and heads south west. The first short section is one way southwest bound, the corresponding northeast bound section being Benview Road, the C26. The road is used for much of the border between the Carolside and Williamwood areas of Clarkston. The C1 then follows Mearns Road through the eastern parts of Newton Mearns. The road passes Whitecraigs to the right and Kirkhill to the left before entering the Broom area of Newton Mearns. We continue past several roads going to the A77 Ayr Road. We then pass Waterfoot Road to the B767 at Waterfoot and the Humbie Road to Eaglesham. We then pass Mearnskirk before crossing the A726 at a grade separated junction, and continuing to meet the A77 next to Eastwood Golf Course.
