The C45 starts on the B769 just outside Newton Mearns and meanders south east along Netherplace Road, as it passes under the M77. The road then comes to a new T junction with the C46, Malletsheugh Road where it turns left, but this section has been closed up before it meets Hunter Drive. On the far side, the route continues, initially one-way towards us, but then becoming two way once more as it winds through to reach the C9, Barrhead Road.
