The C24 starts on the B775 near Muirhouse and heads north east along Sergeantlaw Road to meet the council boundary just beyond Pointhouse. The boundary then follows the road, and judging by the listed length of the C24, the boundary lies to the north of the road, which finally crosses just beyond Sergeantlaw. The road continues to rejoin the B775 on the edge of Paisley.
