Drumpellier Roundabout is a small roundabout on the dualled A89 to the west of Coatbridge. It was built to serve the proposed Luggie Glen Business Park, but the access road (the only arm other than the A89) was blocked off for many years before a business finally moved in. To date, this remains the only business on the renamed Drumpellier Business Park. In 2018 a large new housing development was started on land immediately to the west of the business park, probably on land originally earmarked for the business park, but the housing is accessed from a separate signalised junction. The roundabout takes its name from Drumpellier Country Park to the north; the land for the park was given over to the Burgh of Coatbridge for use as a public park in 1919, and was designated as a country park in 1984.
