Loughborough is a town and Primary Destination in north Leicestershire around 16 miles north of Leicester and roughly half way between Leicester and Nottingham.
Traditionally an industrial town whose noted industries involved the manufacturer of bells (including the largest Bbll in Great Britain in St Paul's Cathedral) and locomotives. It is best known in recent times for its highly rated University. Loughborough is located near the M1 Junction 23 and is the nearest town to East Midlands Airport.
