Armley is the junction of the A58 , the A647 and the B6154 at Armley to the west of Leeds. The present layout dates from about 1980.
In 2018, a consultation took place on the future of the junction; three options were presented, with the objectives of improving capacity for vehicles, improving pedestrian/cyclist safety, and public transport corridors.
Option 1 involved a cut through for the A58 from the south to the north east, at grade. Option 2 provides partial grade separation of the junction for southbound traffic, while northbound traffic crosses the A647 on an at grade crossroads. Option 3 provides grade separation for both north and southbound traffic for the A58
