The Back O'Hill Roundabout in Stirling lies on Back O'Hill Road and provides access to the Back O'Hill Industrial Estate, as well as some of the new housing being built in Raploch. The roundabout was built in advance of the re-routing of the A84 away from Raploch in the mid 2000s. This has seen the once run-down part of the city revitalised with a lot of regeneration. Back O'Hill Road lies hard up against the base of the castle rock, with a steep slope rising up from the A84 to the south.
The roundabout is a simple 3-arm junction, where the A84 runs east to west, and the Glendevon Drive heads north towards Raploch, passing the industrial estate immediately on the right. The land in the north west corner of the junction is currently cleared, awaiting redevelopment. This was once a housing estate of post war local authority concrete houses, which suffered from structural issues and so were demolished, with the residents moved into new houses. Some parts of this estate have already been redeveloped, but this area is a 'ghost estate' of roads through a field.
