Boxheater Junction is a pair of fork junctions and a crossroads near Zelah in Cornwall, between the A30, B3285 and the Cornish C3. The junction name is indicated on the A30's advance direction signs.
The junction has been like this since classification. The A30 cuts the corner between the southern and eastern arms of the crossroads, while the B3285 meets the A30 to the east of the crossroads at a fork junction and the unclassified road meets the A30 to the south. The crossroads gives priority to the B3285.
It is unclear why the junction is named "Boxheater" and the only currently known reference to the word Boxheater is that it was a cut of beef[1].
