This article is about the Class III road numbered C17 maintained by Argyll and Bute Council.

The C17 starts on the A846 at the northern end of Port Ellen and heads west into the south west corner of Islay. It is a meandering route, winding steeply at times over the hills to come to an end at a car park within sight of the memorial that stands on the Mull staring out to sea. This remembers the people who lost their lives on two American troop ships which sank near here in World War One, and is therefore a popular destination for many visitors to the island.
