The C19 is a lengthy route running around the south east coast of Kintrye. It starts in Campbeltown, with two start points, following Hall Street and Argyll Street away from the B842. The two meet via New Quay Street and then the route heads east, out of town on Kilkerran Road andpast the small tidal Island of Davaar. It then turns south, along the sparsely populated coast, dotting in and out behind the coastal hills, the road slowly works its way south, before turning west, crossing the relatively flat valley of the Corachan Burn to meet the B842 again near Southend.
