Lissenhall Junction is Junction 4 of the M1. The interchange opened on 27 June 2003 and carries the D2 R132 (former N1) over the M1. Built as a dumbbell, the junction's roundabouts were quickly signalised as traffic delays occurred. In 2013, a revised layout was introduced to improve traffic flow. At this time the M1 towards Dublin became D3M with a lane drop at the Lissenhall Junction.
