Torpoint is a town in south eastern Cornwall. It was unsuccessfully proposed as a Primary Destination by Cornwall Council in 2011.
The Torpoint Ferry, crossing the Tamar to Plymouth is heavy-duty with multiple chain ferries taking traffic across the river.
