Stonehenge is an ancient monument and World Heritage Site in Wiltshire. It is home to some very ancient roads and is a bottleneck on the A303. Plans to bypass the area have been controversial and expensive, due to the large amount of important archaeological sites in the area, some of which may not have been discovered yet.
