Falmouth is a small town in Cornwall. It is the terminus of the A39, which begins some 200 miles away in Bath, Somerset.
History
Over the last fifty years, the A39 has been moved south west from the route it took in 1957 (see left), until it has replaced the B3290. The old route is now unclassified.
