The C426 connects the A93 and A923 on the southern edge of the Blairgowrie urban area, following Golf Course Road along the northern side of the Rosemount Golf Course. The road is essentially two long straights, and its eastern end, on the A923 was originally a crossroads crossed diagonally by a railway level crossing. Since the closure of the railway, the junction has also been staggered slightly.
