Since 2019, Ordnance Survey maps have shown the A3860 as a short link heading east from the A386 at Derriford Roundabout in Plymouth. The route provides access to the Derriford Hospital, Plymouth Marjon University Campus and Science Park. The road is not signed on the ground, nor does it appear on other internet mapping as the A3860.
There was speculation that this was either a copyright trap or an error, however, it has been confirmed that the A3860 exists in this location as part of Plymouth Council's street list[1]
