Bogleshole Road Bridge carries the unclassified Bogleshole Road across the Clyde in Cambuslang Industrial Estate. The road and bridge are relatively modern, built to connect the two parts of the industrial estate, which spans the river. Although most of the spine road through the estate is dualled, the section across the bridge, between two roundabouts, is only single carriageway, and to further reduce the width of the bridge, a pavement is only provided on the upstream side. The parapet behind the pavement is a standard metal railing type, but on the opposite side a sectional concrete wall has been installed, with metal railings on top. This is possibly due to the close proximity of the railway line at the next bridge, although the gap is too wide to be jumped.
The bridge itself is a three span steel girder structure, where the two flanking spans are half the width of the central span across the river, each section having a slightly arched profile, giving the appearance of a cantilever bridge. The concrete piers are both sited on the river banks, although there is some evidence that when the river is in spate it floods through all three spans.
