The Clydeford Road Bridge is a comparatively modern bridge which carries the A763 over the Clyde at Cambuslang. It was built to replace the old Cambuslang Bridge, which had been subject to a weight limit for many years. The bridge is also sometimes referred to as Rosebank Bridge, although it is not clear if this is correct as there is confusion with another nearby structure. The railway bridge alongside the old Cambuslang Bridge was named Rosebank Bridge, and the footbridge which replaces it also seems to have this name. The Clydeford Road Bridge is a 2-span girder bridge with the pier set in the river bed, close to the south bank. It carries a 2-lane road with wide pavements, metal railings as parapets, and meets roundabout at either end.
