The C25E runs roughly north from the A96 at Alves, to meet the B9089 at Wards Crossroads next to the Roseisle Maltings. It then turns east, and crosses the B9013 to terminate on the B9012 near Duffus. There is also a short spur at this east end, running north to also meet the B9012.
