Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council is the Highway Authority for all roads in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, with the exception of Trunk Roads which are managed by National Highways.

As well as the town of Walsall which gives its name to the borough, it also contains the Primary Destination of Brownhills, as well as other towns such as Aldridge and Darlaston, and the majority of the town of Willenhall. It also contains the historic eastern side of Wolverhampton.
