Andreas is a small village on the northern plain of the Isle of Man, which forms a hub for many of the routes that radiate out across the surrounding fields. There are a few older buildings at the core of the village, but most of it is more modern housing estates. The A17 is the main road through the village, approaching from Sulby to the south, and continuing north east to Bridge. However, it has to TOTSO outside the village school with the A9 from Ramsey, perhaps the busiest route in and out of Andreas. The other A road is the A19, a quiet route which is effectively a continuation of the A9 which heads west to the coast. The B roads that pass through or close to the village are also all generally quiet, the exception being the B6, which appears to be the main access to the industrial premises on the old airfield to the east of the village. This meets the A17 at a roundabout as a result.
