This article is about the original B5 on the Isle of Man, now the B2.
For the current B5 at Jurby, see B5 (Isle of Man).
For the current B5 at Jurby, see B5 (Isle of Man).
The original B5 on the Isle of Man ran north west from the B6 at Andreas to reach the B3 coast road. While many of the early B roads in the north of the island were upgraded to become A roads, this one was rather curiously renumbered as the B2, with the B5 number re-used near Jurby, just a few miles away.
The Manx Government Circular 1131 of 25/02/1926 defines this route as: Andreas Village to Ballawhane
