The B14 is one of the longer B roads on the Isle of Man, and runs roughly parallel to the A17, with the two routes rarely more than a mile apart.
The route starts at a T junction on the A3 at Glenduff and heads north, quickly reducing in width so that it is not possible for two cars to easily pass. After a short straight, a couple of kinks take the route over the Sulby River, and then a couple of longer straights lead across fields to a windier section passing a few houses. The A13 is then crossed at a crossroads and, after another windy section across fields, the B7 is also crossed at a crossroads. In both instances, the B14 has to give way. The last section is a little wider, although not a full S2, and continues to wind northwards through the fields. There are a handful of houses on the roadside, but most sit back down lanes and drives, often hidden behind hedges. At length, the church at Andreas can be seen ahead, and after a sharp right turn, the B14 comes to an end at a very wide T junction on the A9 at the entrance to the village.
