Drumbrae Roundabout is the junction of the A8 and the B701 in Corstophine, Edinburgh. The B701 is the old Edinburgh ring road, before the City Bypass was built. The junction is surrounded by commercial premises, with houses behind, and the Corstophine Retail Park sits in the south west corner. This is accessed from the southern arm of the B701.
The junction is in the form of a four-way roundabout with a small central island. The approaches are all wide roads, three of them being nominally S4, although bus lanes, parking bays etc mean that there are only intermittently two running lanes on the A8 and the B701 to the south soon narrows to a wide S2 after the retail park junction. All four approaches, however, find room for three approach lanes for turning traffic, while pedestrian crossings are situated a short distance from the roundabout in each direction.
