Junctions related to the B430 | |||
This junction started as a simple fork in the road, where the A43 turned north and the A421 continued towards Bicester. That road was upgraded in the 1940s and had become a roundabout by the 1970s.
The junction was upgraded to its present layout in the 1990s, ready to meet the M40. As part of this the through-route became the A34 and the old road the B430. The original alignment of the A421 can still be seen meeting both sliproads.
