This article is about the former B3093 from Evercreech to Shaftesbury.
For the current B3093 in Poole, see B3093.
For the current B3093 in Poole, see B3093.
The number B3093 was originally allocated to the road running from the then-A357 (today's A371) at Prestleigh in Somerset (between Cannard's Grave and Evercreech) to the A30 at Shaftesbury in Dorset via Bruton and Gillingham.
As part of the mass renumberings of 1935, however, the B3093 was combined with the B3081 Shaftesbury to Ringwood road to form a greatly extended route using the latter number. The short B3096 into Wincanton from Stoney Stoke was also absorbed by the extended B3081 as the 'Wincanton Spur'.
