The B3067 follows the pre-bypass route of the A35 through the Dorset village of Lytchett Minster.
The road starts at a mini-roundabout on the B3068 in Upton, technically a suburb of Poole, and heads west; the former A35 east of here is now unclassified. We follow the residential Dorchester Road through town and then cross a bridge over the A35 bypass to reach open country. The road remains semi-urban, however, as we pass the grounds of Lytchett Minster School before reaching the village of that name. We pass through the centre of the village but never become fully rural again before the end of the road is reached at a roundabout, where we meet the A35 and A351.
