The Maidenhead B3023 formed a loop to the south of the town centre, almost passing the railway station in the process. It started on the A4 to the west and headed south then east along Grenfell Road to meet the A308 near the station. After a brief multiplex with the eastern fork of the A308, it continued east on York Road, before turning north along Forlease Road, to meet the A4 once more.
