The B652 is a short link road in west Hertfordshire.
It starts at a mini-roundabout on the A1081 (former A6) on Harpenden High Street and heads east, quickly going under the Midland Main Line. It goes through the suburbs before turning north to cross the River Lea and reach a mini-roundabout on the B653 in the suburb of Batford.
There is a multiplex north along the B653 for about half a mile to within sight of fields and the B652 then turns right to regain its number. It climbs a narrow road out of the river valley before zigzagging into a narrow valley, Kimpton Bottom. This is followed into Kimpton itself, where the road widens once more. The B652 runs almost the entire length of the High Street before ending on the eastern edge of the village at the point where the northbound B651TOTSOs right.
