Chelston Roundabout is a junction between the A38 and B3187 about a mile east of Wellington, Somerset. It is the town's main link to places to the north and east, with an A38 spur leading to the similar named Chelston Interchange with the M5. It also forms the northern end of the Wellington Relief Road, a small S2 bypass built by joining together local roads. The B3187 is the original A38 into the town.
The signage at the junction has never been properly updated to reflect the motorway, despite new signs having been installed at least twice since the arrival of the motorway, with all Exeter traffic still signposted down the A38.
Previous SABRE research indicated a line of boreholes dug for what became the A361 North Devon Link Road crossing this roundabout. No further evidence of this line has been uncovered.
