Summerston Interchange is an unbuilt motorway interchange to the north of Glasgow. The Maryhill Motorway to the south and Lomond Motorway to the west would have been built first, with the Trossachs and North Link Motorways to come later.
It was proposed that the North-South Axis would be M81, and the East-West Axis M82.

Junction Layout
The junction would be a cloverleaf with a direct connector (right-exit, right merge), instead of a loop, between the Lomond and Maryhill Motorways. <googlemap version="0.9" lat="55.90561" lon="-4.294324" zoom="15"> http://www.roads.org.uk/histories/glasgow/glasgow.kmz </googlemap> Junction layout from Roads.org.uk
