The A1212 ran along Fenchurch Street in the City of London.
The road started on the A1213 Gracechurch Street and headed east along Fenchurch Street, a road that curves gently to the left as it continues on. The road passed to the north of Fenchurch Street station, which has never actually fronted onto the street it is named after. Presently the road was pointing northeastwards towards the spire of St Botolph's Church, Aldgate. The A1212 never reached it, however. It ended at the junction with the A11 Leadenhall Street - and that road continued on to Aldgate.
In recent years many roads in the City have been declassified and the A1212 is one of them.
