This article is about the Class III road numbered C9 maintained by Angus Council. For other roads numbered C9, see C9.
The C9 is a route that is hard to identify at the western end. The council list states that it starts on the B954 south of Auchterhouse, by which they presumably mean at North Dronley, but the implication seems to be that there should be an intermediate junction. Heading east from North Dronley, the road quickly reaches a T junction, and must turn left, then right at Eastfield to follow the more easily identified eastern part of the route, past Leoch and so to the C8.
