This article is about the junction at the end of the M50, at Ross on Wye.

Traveller's Rest is junction 4 of the M50. It is more commonly known as the M50 roundabout.
This roundabout used to be known as the Black House Roundabout, because of the name of a building which used to stand on the site. This was demolished in 1960 to be replaced by the Travellers Rest.
It was complete for the Ross on Wye Bypass opening on 3 September 1960. The Herefordshire section of the M50 was also ready to open at that date but was delayed until the complete section from J1 to J4 was ready, which opened on 28 November 1960.
