Three Tuns Junction is located on the A449 on the northern side of Wolverhampton. It is an unremarkable roundabout surrounded by shops. The Class III road U120 has its northern terminus here on its way around the eastern side of the city, and as a result the roundabout gets extremely busy at peak times.
The junction is named after the former public house in the southwest corner of the roundabout, that is now a Chinese restaurant.
It was originally a simple crossroads, with the roundabout being installed in the early 1960s along with associated widening work on U120 Three Tuns Lane.
