Warndon Interchange is junction 6 of the M5. It forms the northern access for Worcester from the motorway, alongside providing access to Kidderminster and parts of the Black Country from the south. Six routes radiate from this junction, three of them are on the western side of the M5, this causes considerable congestion at peak times. The roundabout was increased in size during the M5 widening works in the early 1990s.
