Battlefield Roundabout (also locally known as Wodehouse Roundabout) is located to the south of Wolverhampton at the junction of the A449, which is the primary radial route out of the city to the southwest, and the A463 which runs around the south side of the city.
The junction was originally a crossroads, until the roundabout was installed at the same time as the dualling of A449 to the south in the early 1960s. The dualling to the north of the junction was completed in 1975.
