Kingston upon Hull, almost invariably referred to as Hull, is an important city located within the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is named after the River Hull, which bisects the city.
It it arguably most famous for the Humber Bridge, however, it is also known as a city of opening bridges, with a large number of bascule, swing, and lifting bridges crossing the River Hull through the city.
